i've mentioned this on stream yesterday but yasmine is the most accurate filipino character i've ever seen in a fighting game... she LOOKS and FEELS filipino and even got the perfect dichotomy between being a tough strong fighter and a cute gworlie at the end of the day.

first glance of her feels like home with the headband, the overgrown dyed hair, the shorts, and the longer sleeves back in PH.... she even reminds me of my friend's body type (who is a martial artist...) that's EXACTLY her build and i can't help but think of all the filipino friends i've had in my life.

i don't talk much about representation on here but the existence of her character pulls out nostalgic feelings for me and i think it's really nice that sf6 was able to capture that really well. i really really really miss my home.
