Greek Trotskyists: Open Letter to the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Fight Against Counterrevolution in Cuba!

The KKE rightly states that the economic and social transformations undertaken by the Cuban leadership constitute a major danger to the Cuban Revolution. This open letter details 4 important measures around which to build a left opposition to the CCP's measures and against the threats of the US imperialists.
1. Workers’ democracy: open discussion among the working masses to defend the revolution and to chart a way forward.
2. Nationalization of the means of production under workers’ control.
3. State control of foreign trade through workers’ committees to eliminate the black market.
4. An anti-imperialist united-front to mobilize the workers of China, Latin America, the United States, Europe, and elsewhere to break the blockade of Cuba.
The ICL has written this open letter to the left:
Defend the Cuban Revolution—No to Capitalist Restoration!
The ICL is appealing to every organization and comrade on the left prepared to defend the conquests of the Cuban Revolution—from revolutionary socialists to dissidents in the PCC and trade-union militants within and outside Cuba—to reject the PCC's economic reforms and collaborate to defend the Revolution. Whatever our differences on broader strategic questions, we share an urgent responsibility to oppose capitalist restoration, demand an end to the U.S. blockade and fight for the preservation of the planned economy. The decisive question is whether we are prepared to act together against the counterrevolutionary danger.

Cuba: How to Stop the Catastrophe
Cuba is under total siege by U.S. imperialism, but far from defending the gains of the Cuban Revolution, the reforms approved by the PCC would dismantle what remains of the planned economy and state monopoly of foreign trade.
This new @SpartacistICL article explains in some detail why it is urgently necessary to forge a left opposition in Cuba that will fight this disastrous course. The article also offers some historical precedents for addressing the situation in Cuba, notably the Bolsheviks' measures to defend the new workers state. Finally, it offers concrete measures on which to base such an opposition under the watchwords of revolutionary internationalism, radical egalitarianism, and workers democracy.
There is no time to waste. Socialists must come together in a left opposition to stop the drive to capitalism and defend the Cuban Revolution!

How about the RCN shows some leadership?
Stand up & fight to defend members against bullying in Hospital Trusts.
Start by admitting Lucy Letby is a scapegoat for failings of a disastrous system & should be freed.
I read this article—the RCI's analysis of the situation in Cuba is close to that of the ICL. However, the main weakness is that the comrades don't propose a concrete, fighting perspective. A left opposition must urgently be forged in Cuba against the PCC's course, seeking to rally working people against the destruction of their revolution. In this SpartTalk podcast, J. Masters offers some concrete proposals around which such an opposition can be cohered. Marxist organizations that agree with this perspective should work together, putting secondary differences aside, to fight for this urgent task.
To militants who are looking for a way to oppose these disastrous measures of the Cuban government/PCC, listen to this podcast. What is needed in Cuba is a left opposition that starts from hard defense of Cuba against US imperialism’s onslaught, and strategies to address the desperate needs of the Cuban masses right now.

The Cuban Revolution is in grave danger. This episode of SpartTalk explains why these “reform” measures must be vehemently opposed and why they are not akin to China's and Vietnam's reforms in previous decades.
You will hear the outlines of a concrete road to fight internationally and within Cuba to defend the revolution.
I urge those who listen to share this podcast with leftists in the diaspora from Cuba, the Caribbean and Latin America as a means to advance the discussion on how to fight to save the Cuban Revolution - its defeat would be a defeat for the masses everywhere, and would further embolden Trump's offensive against all of Latin America.

If Cuba opens its doors to U.S. finance capital, it will destroy everything that has been won.
Social equality and revolutionary internationalism are the only way to resist.
Still studying the reforms in Cuba (176 of them!) and this really is the biggest retreat in Cuban socialism's history. A short thread on two policy areas 🧵
