Four B-2A “Spirit” Strategic Long-Range Stealth Bombers with the U.S. Air Force’s 509th Bomb Wing flew a round-trip strike mission early Saturday from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, to the Middle East, via the Strait of Gibraltar and Mediterranean, supported by a number of KC-46A Pegasus from bases in Europe. According to Fox News, the B-2s dropped dozens of 2,000lb bombs on underground ballistic missile sites in Iran at the beginning stages of Operation Epic Fury.
