It’s been a very interesting experiment. Hits the middle ground between system prompt/prompt loading and memory with a high density continuity layer. Doesn’t overlap existing systems, it enhances their effectiveness by preserving decisions and experiences of what mattered in session.

Whenever I tinker with it and break it, I realize I’ve forgotten how to prompt effectively. 😂 most of my prompts are so vague and just assume it always knows, because it does.

@MichaelGannotti I hope it helps. The local adaptation of it i'm running locally makes any session in any harness on my local network pick up in any directory where i left off from another computer, another harness, another model, another service as if it had the same context. it's wild!

If you think Grok @bot limits vanish too quickly, enable overage charges and watch on demand costs takes off like a super heavy booster! $40 in 10 minutes. it read a handfull of messages and checked 1 PR 4x after delegating corrections to outside agents. Not much work compared to the weekly budget. Wow!

If you don't want to install the desktop app, leave it running, or have an OS it's not supported on, you can use Tailscale to establish a private encrypted VPN tunnel between Grok Bot's machine & yours.

Connect GitHub on the cursor dashboard or in GrokBot plugins. Cursor is best.

Create a private repo or have cursor do it. Then have cursor install what it needs for cloud agents.

Tell GrokBot what you want to do and to have cursor cloud agents do it. It will dispatch cloud agents. If you have cursor desktop, GrokBot will give you a link to pull it up in cursor and you can watch that bot.

Look, I don’t disagree with the point, I disagree with the delivery. You make far too many assumptions in one blanket inflammatory give me attention post. Well, you got it. Good job.

Ai is a tool. So is photoshop. Not all who use photoshop are artists or capable of quality work, but many artists can do amazing work in it. And I mean old school pre-CS generations here especially. Don’t want to confuse it with new Ai features.

I disagree in the framing as your statement is like saying all photoshop is slop and anyone who uses it is…

It’s a tool. The quality of output depends on the user and the goals.

If you want to rail on slop, be specific. Otherwise, you come off a little like tilting at windmills here.
