Yesterday was a long day.

I was called for questioning in connection with a case that I believed had no merit, and I attended the questioning to present my version. However, the police arrested me at 5.30 PM.

I was granted bail at 10 PM, and the Hon’ble Duty Judge clearly stated that he saw no offence in the case. He also said that he saw no mens rea and failed to understand why I had even been arrested.

Grateful to @RaviSharmaTalks and @sidcool2302, the wonderful lawyers who helped me through this.

Thankful to the many people, both online and offline, who supported me. I’m truly grateful. Of course, there are many who dislike you and use such opportunities to strike harder when you are down, but that’s fair game. It was your day, and you took it. I can take those blows and come back.

At times like these, one realises the importance of ideological support. The people who stood by me at the most crucial juncture were neither close friends nor relatives, but those with whom I am bound by ideology. And it delivered for me when it mattered most.

This incident has added many new layers of perspective, most importantly the ones we usually miss in the melee of day-to-day social media discourse.

I’ll write about the specifics of this case another day. For now, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been a well-wisher. I’m grateful.

In Tamil Nadu, the BJP being in power at the centre has been used by essentially all the parties to demonize them. The DMK made "attack Modi" as their only plank. EdappadiDMK (that is the correct name) would have done the same thing if the Congress had switched over to them. In Tamil, we call this பூச்சாண்டி காட்டுதல் - like my grandmother would tell me as a kid "that tree next to the pond has a ghost that will catch you, so don't go near it" to keep me away from swimming in the pond! Modi is their favorite பூச்சாண்டி.

So when someone parrots the line "we want to keep the BJP out of Tamil Nadu", they are saying "we don't want competition for our cozy duopoly", not some deep principle. The BJP has been in alliance in AP and Pondicherry and those states are doing fine, they are making excellent progress. Yet TN is supposedly "different".

The "difference" was the BJP getting into alliance with these same parties (EDMK or DMK) that want to openly or secretly suppress them in TN.

What is the way ahead? Find good youthful passionate leadership that are willing to fight the good fight long term. Focus on building up the party from the grassroots. Ignore all the பூச்சாண்டி business. Do not align with anyone who claims "TN is different". TN is Bharat. We have to fight this subterranean separatism.

Annamalai was making progress but he needed a lot more time. He was creating a genuine political movement, he invited youth to be active in politics and he had massive engagement.

I would have volunteered for this assignment too (I love building up from zero!) but I am neck deep in tech and Bharat needs deep tech. So not in this life time. To be very clear, I will state my political views (my right to free speech) but I will not be in active politics.

I hope all our educated citizens do engage in this political debate and express their opinions, but let us all do it RESPECTFULLY.

Exclusive on Nashik Corporate Jihad Case: How married Islamists exploited Hindu woman

Out of 9 FIRs registered between March 25 and April 3, the police acted only after the first victim came forward. Here's what she said in the FIR:

An unmarried Hindu woman from the Dalit community met Danish in 2022. As they were from the same college, they soon began talking. Danish had promised her a job in the corporate firm where he works. They began meeting regularly, and later she got the job in the same office. One day, he grabbed her and kissed her on the lips without her consent, saying he liked her and wanted to marry her.

In the office, Tausif and Nida would join them, where they would talk about Hindu Dharma. They would call Shivling a 'male genital' and say that worshipping it is obscene. They would call Bhagwan Krishna a womaniser and Draupadi an adulterer as she had five husbands.

Danish also had physical relationship with her. She had given in to him assuming he loved her. When Tausif found out about the relationship, he began threatening the woman that he would tell her family members. The only condition for him to remain tight-lipped was an agreement where she would sleep with him. He would grab the woman in the office lobby and the pantry, rape her, ridicule her, and more.

Shockingly, in February 2026, the woman received a call from a woman named Mahirin, who told her that she was Danish's wife and that they had two children.

Broken, the woman confronted Danish, only to hear him say, "I was never planning to marry you."
