Humans of Sskait - Naito
“Nagsimula kaming mag-date last year, and on our second date, pumunta kaming Baguio.
He'd never been here before. We planned everything out, and honestly, everything went smoothly, except sa part where I was supposed to officially ask him to be my boyfriend.
The plan was to ask him at one of the places we were going to visit around Baguio. Pero iba ang nangyari.
Mahaba-haba ang byahe from Manila to Baguio, and by the time we arrived, I was completely exhausted. Dumiretso na agad kami sa Airbnb, where we had booked a room with only one bed to save money. So walang choice but to share. I ended up falling asleep almost immediately.
When I woke up, I realized na I was already hugging him. That's when he said, “Hindi pa tayo, pero may yakapan nang nagaganap.” Then he asked if I wanted us to make it official. Of course, I said yes.
I was still half-asleep at lutang pa at the time. A few moments later, I suddenly remembered that I had planned to ask him later that day. Unfortunately, that never happened because naunahan niya ako. When I told him about my plan, we just laughed about it.
We spent the rest of our Baguio trip with our hearts full.
Now, we've been together for a year, and I can honestly say that we're doing so well. Both of our families know about us, and they're happy for us. I never imagined myself being where I am today, but I'm incredibly grateful.
To my habi,
You are my first, just as I am yours, and honestly, I hope we're each other's last. I know that life won't always be easy, but I also know that together, we'll always find a way to make things work. And if there's one thing I'm certain of, it's that life is better with you in it.”
With love from your habi,
Naito (Sskait Junior Artist)
