Kilimo Knowledge: Sulphate of Ammonia (SA) is a quick acting fertilizer. Though SA (21% N) is good for all growing plants, it also has Sulfur (24% S) which lowers ur soil pH. Consequently, SA may be more preferable in irrigated schemes with soil alkalinity problems.
