I was in IT and we had to be on call that night to prepare for disaster. Tremendous delusion over this event. Had project managers hounding me about code reviews for months. They had no job like the next day. Funny to laugh about now.

Introducing the $MARA fan account bracket/contest!

It includes a mix of participants that notified me about entry or were a recommendation. A few were added in as an admin by me to complete the field of 32. Matchups were randomized, there is no seeding.

Very simple, I will post a poll for each matchup and you will vote on which account you want to move on to the next round. I will allow at least 24 hours for voting and will be a week-long tourney. Will skip the weekend since that is not as active of a time for myself/followers and I want as many votes as possible

Tentative Schedule:

Round of 32 - Wednesday/Thursday
Round of 16 - Thursday/Friday
Quarterfinals - Monday
Semifinals - Tuesday

Current Thoughts on $MARA :

This is not a knock on peers who have done absolutely phenomenal

But yesterday Fred stated they expect "multiple leases to be signed by year-end"

Some peers with a rich valuation only have one deal signed, imagine if MARA can sign 3-4?

Its already valued much lower relative to them, what happens when they sign double the amount of deals they have?

This is why I remain bullish, the price of the stock now is still not consistent with the value proposition. If MARA did not have Starwood, Long Ridge, and Exaion then yes they'd be a sitting duck and probably going to be a casualty. But look at the team they are building...you can't say that is not impressive

The bear thesis will be they have no results to show for it and that is true for now. But I think the level of return one can see in this stock now is very high relative to the risk (has even been derisked due to their acquisitions in the AI space)
