simple stuff. this red card rule is horrendous.

@RaifYtinav @ALFLdel @SportsGuyJeremy i get it but that’s where i think the rule sucks. not having a distinction between recklessness and malicious intent is lame imo. the rule is the rule and it’s probably a red card (albeit ticky-tack) but that should be the difference between an ejection and a suspension.

@ALFLdel @RaifYtinav @SportsGuyJeremy totally. there is assumed physical risk in every game. you want to eject him for an especially dangerous play sure, but the following suspension should only happen if the play is intentionally dangerous.

@ZMuneca88 @AdamCrafton_ @TheAthleticFC the problem is how the rule is written. i’m a yank who watches almost no soccer but it seems reasonable to have an ejection upheld for a dangerous play (ie targeting), but the ensuing suspension only occurs if the dangerous play was deemed intentional. in no world should he sit.
