@RAbdiAnalyst He miss the point , USA is already decided to recognise Somaliland, we are expecting to be announced before the midterms elections and after President Irro visits Washington ✅
@umutcagrisariii The concern that the people of Somaliland had was that one day Turkey, which they viewed as an adversary, might attack us in the same way.
Alhamdulillah! We established relations with Israel at the right time.
The Turkish airstrikes against the people of S/W Somalia are now over.
BREAKING: Somalia’s Defence Minister, Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, launched a scathing attack on Israel and Somaliland’s diplomatic ties, describing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “devil” and arguing that Israel’s recognition of Somaliland has no legitimacy because, in his view, Israel is an occupying state.
Fiqi also claimed President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Cirro) had aligned Somaliland with “the greatest enemy of Islam,” alleging that the move had turned what he described as the Somaliland issue from a Somali matter into one opposed by the wider Muslim world. He further asserted that Somaliland’s relationship with Israel would ultimately fail.
The minister’s remarks included rhetoric directed at the Jewish state and have drawn criticism from some observers as antisemitic, particularly his characterization of Israel and its prime minister. The comments are likely to fuel further diplomatic tensions following Israel’s recognition of Somaliland and the deepening cooperation between Hargeisa and Jerusalem.

By calling for #Jewish history to be included in #Somaliland’s curriculum, these secondary school students are challenging the long-standing treatment of #Israeli history in the #Somali peninsula as taboo. They argue that in SL it should be normalised in the classroom, just as the histories of other important nations are taught. In doing so, they even mention @netanyahu by name. @gidonsaar may need to take note and relay this to his boss. On the SL side, the girls’ demand has been heard loud and clear in native language. @i24NEWS_EN
@TheGreat132000@Israel@nikitabier@elonmusk We are a democratic Sunni Muslim nation. We don’t need lectures on freedom from a state ruled by one family. Somalilanders can’t be fooled by equating Arab identity with Islam. Our faith is not a political tool. No propaganda can erase the deaths of nearly half a million Yemenis
@TheGreat132000@Israel@nikitabier@elonmusk Your country has been responsible for the deaths of over 400,000 Yemenis and has contributed to pushing more than 16 million people into starvation since 2014, according to UN reports. It's 2026 now—facts are clear, and we're not people you can mislead.
@umutcagrisariii Let me be clear, Somaliland will never be a Turkish protectorate. Keep shouting if you want—we understand your frustration, but Somaliland's future will be decided by Somalilanders, not by Ankara or its proxies.
@umutcagrisariii This is an edited and misleading clip. Former President Bihi has always supported Somaliland's recognition. The person promoting this narrative is a Turkish citizen who was reportedly expelled from Hargeisa over espionage allegations, which may explain his bias.
@JNS_org As a proud Somalilander, I appreciate your kind words about our President and Somaliland’s achievements. Our journey reflects resilience, democracy, and peace. We believe in building a better future through friendship, respect, and shared values among nations.
Somaliland's President Abdirahman Mohammed Abdullahi came to Israel with a powerful message: "Israel was the first country that truly saw us."
A democracy that survived genocide, defeated jihadi threats and openly embraces friendship with Israel, Somaliland is proving that a Muslim-majority nation and the Jewish state can build a shared future together.
