I’m the Wise Old Man, 27, based in London, and my goal is to leave full time work by aged 30 and live off dividends
Right now I’m at ~£2200 div income per month with £100k invested
It’s not perfect and I’m still figuring things out, but it’s moving in the right direction

Unpopular opinion: buying experiences in your 20s while investing 20% beats investing 50% and living like a student.
Compound interest works on memories too.
Just not the kind HMRC can tax.
Unpopular opinion:
Maxing your ISA with dividend stocks > buying a second property
✅ No tenants
✅ No maintenance
✅ No void periods
✅ Tax-free income
✅ Total liquidity
Passive income doesn't have to mean property 🏠❌📈✅
First time my dividends covered my council tax bill, I cried.
Not rich. Just one less thing my salary has to stretch for.
Small wins build into freedom. 💷
Boring strategies make money.
Exciting strategies make stories.
I'll take boring:
• Consistent monthly deposits
• Same 4 ETFs
• Automatic reinvestment
• Zero drama
Get rich slow > stay poor fast.
Happy dividend day to those who celebrate
£938.67 from @IncomeShares
$MAGD – £652.78
$TSLD – £224.19
$NVDD – £58.04
$COII – £3.66
That’s nearly £1k in cash flow without selling a single share
Build assets
Let them pay you
Investing £100 per month won’t change your life this year
But 5–10 years of doing it without stopping absolutely will
Patience is the edge, stay consistent

Just hit £42,000 invested in my ISA.
Generating £3,200/year in tax-free dividends.
That's £266/month that pays for:
• Groceries
• Petrol
• Utilities
All covered by dividends alone.
This is what financial progress looks like 💪
