Faster brain MRI scans with high accuracy? Yes!🚀So proud of @maxeggl & @si_de_santis who have developed a new AI-based approach to speed up scans while maintaining high accuracy🧠🔬
Great to see this work published! Check out the full study published in @CommsMedicine👇#SBI#MRI
◾Reduce sesgos
◾Agilizaría listas de espera

Incredible proud of this one! It has been in the works for more than a year - after a lucky encounter at a workshop where I was introduced to #SBI. Obviously couldn't have done it without the wonderful mentorship of @si_de_santis. So yeah - read the paper, it's not too bad ;)!
🔥 New study from the @LabMri is now published in @CommsMedicine 🔝

Grateful to have been invited to present my recent work with @si_de_santis@LabMri at the institute of bioengineering @UniversidadMH: speeding up diffusion MRI with AI! Great questions and discussions! Paper is also out: more on that soon ;) https://t.co/cVnpPkapxy @BecariosFLC
Excited to share our new preprint from the lab! @LabMri@si_de_santis@NeuroAlc

Everything is ready in Ljubljana! Today @maxeggl is part of the #EMIM2026 session on Artificial Intelligence🤖 It is the perfect place to talk about how we use AI and advanced dw-MRI models to detect neuroinflammation in-vivo🧠
See you at 17:35 in Kosovel hall🕒
Good luck Max!✨
The Frenster Lab is here! 🍾 I am so excited to start my #EmmyNoether funded group at @UniFreiburg this summer. Our group studies #CellCompetition dynamics during embryonic development using #gastruloids from multiple species. https://t.co/wYdVD6V2kT

We also quantify how costly delayed mitigation can be for severe diseases. Many thanks to Laura for her excellent first-author work, and to @ViolaPriesemann for a wonderful collaboration.
Happy to announce a new preprint with @ViolaPriesemann ! We introduce an optimization framework to balance infection costs against mitigation costs during epidemics and pandemics, deriving optimal mitigation strategies rather than fixing policies ad hoc. https://t.co/fBgQXZedg5
Main results: with constant R₀, the optimal response is binary, either strict mitigation or none at all. With seasonality, mitigation is stricter in winter but infections peak in spring with a delayed wave. Even with vaccination, optimal policies can produce transient waves.
From across the pond, representing @NeuroAlc, @maxeggl is making waves at #SfN25 with his work on spatial coordination of synaptic plasticity, exploring how neurons organize and fine-tune connections to shape learning and memory. So proud of our math superstar!🔬⭐#Neuroscience
This week @maxeggl and @PMartinezTazo are representing us at #SfN25 in San Diego 🧠✨
Seeing our work cross borders and gain visibility is truly energizing. It’s giving us the push to keep exploring, innovating, and uncovering new insights 🔍⚡️
