Well, Bonta, many of us have been saying this for years while Lacob hoarded picks for a Giannis pipedream.

Instead of building around Steph, he decided Steph was washed at age 31 and started drafting a second timeline instead. When Steph led us to victory in 2022, he had his boy Kawakami write an article crediting TWO TIMELINES and doubled down on it. No need to actually replace players we lost and invest in building a title defender... No.. let the kids step up now 😭

Making matters worse is Lacob could've somehow got it to work but he didn't listen to his own coaches and staff and drafted players nobody wanted but him. Imagine we have Haliburton, Franz, etc instead. Maybe he could actually have assets to get Giannis! Maybe the team would be a lot better.

So here we are... Lacob chose chasing Giannis over Steph. He chose Two Timelines over Steph. He botched the Two Timelines because he didn't listen to Kerr or the staff and pushed for guys he wanted instead. He held onto Wiseman and Kuminga so long, delusionally wishcasting, that they had/have little to no value. Wiseman isn't even in the NBA! Could've had so many other players like OG, Siakam, Lauri, etc. Nah, Two Timelines, Giannis, etc.

And the irony is that if he just believed in Steph and Kerr not only would we probably have more rings but he could've had the assets and situation to get Giannis today! He did this to himself. Ego, hubris, delusion, and profound incompetence.

I expect you'll call him out like .@MontePooleNBCS has?
