So i'm 100% going to be on the scrounge for the next 12 months... Next year I am taking 25 Army Cadets from Glasgow&Lanarkshire battalion to Malta to learn to SCUBA dive.
However we need funding to do this. For some of these cadets this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to have

In order to raise money for the trip they are undertaking a sponsored swim.. between them they are aiming to swim 2633 km which is the distance between G&L HQ in Dechmont, and Maltaqua in St Paul's Bay.

@MyGlasgowCC An absolute disgrace that this hasn't been sorted yet. Any time it rains now it completely blocks the pavement and access to the building. The blocked drains are also stopping the drain pipes from emptying so the gutters are overflowing and causing damp in the building.

@MyGlasgowCC can you send someone to clear the gully at 230 Auldhouse road. It's unacceptable that it's flooding the entrance to the cadet centre again.

@GlasgowCC I think it's irrelevant to the city today. The roads are a disgrace, the city centre is an absolute dump. Pretty sure you have much bigger priorities than if a street was named after a tobacco lord from hundreds of years ago! Another colossal waste of money by GCC.

@Mr_Andrew_Fox I was of the understanding that these figures were probably wrong, because there is/was no requirement to identify suicide victims as being veterans, so the actual numbers were largely unknown. Has this changed?
