“The truth is? It doesn’t matter. The movie got made”

[Robin 🐛 @Undue_Risk]

The real message of Digger is that a queer personal assistant can do anything

[henry @trappedkrinkle]

“We haven’t felt like this leaving a movie since Obsession.”

Every time a DC movie is around the corner, mfs on this app suddenly becomes box office analysts.

It is so shameless that jazz, once so passionately hated by white America, is now embedded into the national iconography used by conservatives. Similarly fascist phonk edits tend to use music made by trans women. The political right is a bunch of useless parasites.

[Gunky 🔜 MCM London @itmaybegunkie]

an avengers endgame re-release crushed it at the box office while this, forgotten island and digger are flopping.

the general audience doesn’t deserve basic human rights

[Fauxlosopher @fauxfilosopher]

The monkey's paw curls. The Digger bubble has expanded considerably, so much so that we are now going to have to suffer the takes of the people who want in on the action who didn't quite get it, but don't want to feel left out.

[Carlos @MattBlakeStan]

My bestie Wagner Moura played 3 and they told him to go back to his country 💔

[(Spooky) Signal @NopeSignal]

We need to accept the reality that Obsession wasn’t successful because “audiences crave original films” but because Indie Narratette going “No No No don’t do that” became a meme on TikTok, and that’s about it.

[John Arizona @TastefulEunuch]

I'm gonna be so annoying in like 10 years about having seen Digger in theaters

Rooting for the sentinals

[brooke's crashing tf out 🪏 @verybrookie]

i think part of why i refuse to give a fuck about digger's 250 million budget is because robert downey jr is reported to earn 100 million for doomsday and secret war like that is literally One Guy taking 40% of digger's budget

[Oceaniz @Oceaniz96]

In film studies, our prof once went on a rant abt how we have to "de-americanize" our view of art.

iirc "Americans are obsessed with plot. Form, function, feeling, they ignore it all to ask if the plot is believable or logical. All they care about is outsmarting the artist."

So if I purchase a DVD and digitize it, that’s copyright infringement. But if an AI company buys my book and scans it to train their system, that’s perfectly fine? Once again, corporations are allowed to play by their own rules. I’m so sick of the hypocrisy.

Everything is performative to chronic underachievers.

I’ve seen so many people saw that if Brolin did land the role everyone wouldn’t find him likable. And I can only assume that those people have only seen him as Thanos cause idk how people think that
