I know I am missing a bunch but this should be a good start!
I'm done posting in Chinese. The Chinese-language side of X is toxic — full of anger, bots, and no real discourse. Everyone's just chasing creator payouts, not actual conversation. None of my posts have gotten any feedback worth engaging with. I think I'll get a lot more out of the English-speaking community here.
How a beginner went from “AWS is too big” → first deploy in 30 days
(real roadmap you can copy)
Day 1:
Opened the AWS console → overwhelmed instantly.
Had no idea what EC2, S3, VPC even meant.
Day 5:
Stopped trying to learn everything.
Picked a simple stack:
EC2 • S3 • IAM • Lambda
Day 10:
Learned just enough to build:
• Launch EC2
• Create S3 bucket
• Set basic IAM roles
• Run a Lambda function
Cloud finally felt logical.
Day 18:
Built a small real project:
API Gateway → Lambda → DynamoDB
Tested end-to-end. It actually worked.
Day 25:
Added security + monitoring:
IAM least privilege • CloudWatch logs • Error alerts
Started understanding real-world AWS.
Day 30:
Deployed the project + wrote a clean README.
Uploaded to GitHub → caught recruiter attention.
Takeaway:
AWS isn’t hard — learning everything at once is.
