I ask Claude code again: "Technically, yeah, you could rewrite the User-Agent header on your server before sending the request to Anthropic. But Anthropic is probably doing more than just checking headers.​"

🦞 OpenClaw users, heads up. Anthropic just killed the cheap ride. 💸

Claude’s subscription with OpenClaw has stopped working, so you will need the API subscription. Way more costly!

⚙️Technically, here’s how they’re doing it: Anthropic checks the origin headers on requests

If it’s coming from an unapproved tool like OpenClaw, it gets blocked. They validate the User-Agent and Referer headers to make sure you’re legit.
