What makes this situation even more disappointing is the contradiction between what the community was told and what we are seeing today.

Throughout the campaign, SoSoValue made it clear that SoSoValue and SoDEX were separate. Participants were encouraged to engage with the SoSoValue ecosystem, create content, complete tasks, invite users, stay active in the community, and contribute to the platform’s growth.

However, after the checker went live, it became obvious that the biggest allocations overwhelmingly went to users who traded heavily on SoDEX. Many of those receiving 5,000, 25,000, or even 30,000+ SOSO appear to have been rewarded primarily based on their SoDEX activity.

If SoDEX trading was going to be the main factor for receiving larger allocations, why wasn’t that communicated clearly from the beginning? Why spend months telling the community that these were separate initiatives only for the final results to suggest otherwise?

The frustration isn’t just about the rewards. It’s about transparency. It’s about expectations. It’s about trust.

Many community members dedicated countless hours to supporting SoSoValue because they believed the rules and guidance that were being shared. Had everyone known that aggressive SoDEX participation would carry such significant weight, many would have approached the campaign very differently.

Today, a lot of loyal supporters feel misled. Not because they expected to become rich overnight, but because they expected fairness and consistency between what was promised and what was delivered.

This entire situation leaves a bitter taste and raises serious questions about whether the community was given the full picture from the start.

For a project built by its community, losing that community’s trust is a price far greater than any token allocation.
