This morning I was fortunate enough to attend a special breakfast event here in Melbourne with an Oct 7 survivor and two young Israelis (only 23 & 24 years old) who are working to rebuild communities destroyed over the past two years in northern Israel.

Equally emotional and inspiring listening to each of them talk about their experiences and plans for the future.

Also enjoyed connecting with several locals and chatting about Australian politics, the current media landscape, and LGBT issues.

What a great way to start the day.
