Animals from frontline areas usually are very weak after the evacuation. So we make sure to keep in touch with shelters and vet clinics that took them in — and we pay for the treatment.

Yesterday, we covered the costs of treatment
🐈‍⬛ For Leon the cat in Zaporizhzhia — hospitalisation, injection therapy, bandaging and food;
🐶 For puppies Manny and Rosie — hospitalisation, consumables and food;
🐕 For Miranda the dog in Odesa — veterinary examination, tests and neutering;
🐶 For the puppy Gera, who was brought to the clinic after the last vet mission — hospitalisation, feeding, medication administration and medicines. Unfortunately, despite all the vets’ efforts, we were unable to save the puppy. Sometimes it’s too late or the condition is too severe, and that is the most painful part of our work 💔

Did you know Palmdale Animal Shelter in California kills most dogs within 10–14 days of intake?

Reposting this because silence lets this happen again.

Lucy was a good girl — only one year old. She was gentle, loving, and waiting for her forever home.
Instead, her life was cut short when it didn’t have to be. People were actively trying to adopt her, and she was killed before the shelter even opened to the public. A simple search on Instagram, X, or Facebook would have shown dozens of people scrambling to save her.

She deserved a family.
She deserved a chance.
She deserved love.
