Hey everyone,
I just found this out today (like and hour ago) and I’m still processing it, but I wanted to let you know right away. I have to cancel the June dates for the “It’s Probably Nothing” tour… except for Toronto, which is still going ahead as planned.
We aimed high with the venue sizes and unfortunately we’re only pulling 300-400 tickets in 1200-capacity rooms.
The production company just called me to say they can’t cover that kind of loss (tour bus, hotels, flights, cost of huge venues), and by the time they realized we should downsize to smaller theatres (like we did in Toronto), it was already too late to make it work for June.
I was transparent that I was happy to take a slight loss here in exchange for the experience. I offered to pay for lots of the marketing, hiring local talent to open the shows etc. but it wasn't enough.
Tickets for all cancelled June shows will be automatically refunded to the original method of payment.
I’m really sorry. This one hurts because I know a lot of you had plans and were looking forward to it.
Many of you might have planned a trip and gotten a hotel etc.
I hate letting you down and I’d rather be straight with you. Until an hour ago I thought we were good to go. I've had to call all the guests and co-hosts and let them know as well.
The good news: all August shows are still on, the contest is still running for those dates, and I can’t wait to see you there. The cancelled June shows will hopefully be rescheduled for early 2027 in smaller, more intimate rooms so we can do them properly. Thank you for understanding, and thank you for riding with me.
I don’t take your support for granted. If you're looking to go to a show and can make it to Toronto, there are still some tickets available.
Appreciate you,
Chris
