Thank you, unfortunately, over the past 24hrs I've been incredibly frustrated by the utter stupidity of Codex... I have deadlines and work that needs done... unfortunately, this beyond frustrating situation, pushed me to try Cursor again, which I hadn't tried since it looked like vscode... I'm actually impressed and thrilled by the fact that it feels 100x faster and smarter than Codex w/GPT-5.5... *Sigh*... I'm on Cursor's $20 plan that they discounted by 70% to get me back... anyway, I've been grinding here for many hours and it's already accomplished more than codex did in 2.5 days which is about how long it took to drain my entire weekly usage quota on the Codex $200/mo plan... AND I've only used 27% of my quota... YIKES!!! Unfortunately, I probably won't even be using the tokens for this next week as they're inferior to the Cursor tokens... Thanks for making such a mess of codex over the past 24-hrs that it pushed me elsewhere - I would've stayed on codex forever, but now I see how much better it is to work with Cursor... I guess we'll see how long my love affair with Cursor lasts before they do something incredibly stupid. lol

Fair. I did design software and had my engine it, but sadly we’ve been ‘remote’ for 10+ years now… I do miss the brainstorming and literal white boarding in person. But honestly, explaining my vision to AI and all my dreams come true nearly overnight feels SO much better than all the vision boarding and week after week of delay we had with our team. Something about AI simply feels magical.

@jsgrrchg I agree, but I can't afford 2 days of crappy builds hallucinating and regressing features that have worked well for weeks... I'm moved over to Cursor and it's been wonderful so far! 100X faster too. Like WOW!

@LexnLin I just cancelled a codex $200/mo plan and moved to Cursor... But please don't try Cursor, you won't like it ;) (Besides if we get too many users over here it'll tank compute capacity lol... my journey with AI so far... Cluade>Codex>Cursor (claude, I think)... *sigh*
