🚨A Palestinian hostage from Gaza, released by the Israeli occupation on Sunday, January 25, alongside seven others, delivered a message from those still held inside Israeli occupation prisons, urging their immediate release due to the brutal detention conditions. He said all Palestinian hostages are suffering, describing how many are injured, sick, freezing from the winter cold, and denied proper food and medical care.

The released hostage said detainees were transferred between Israeli occupation torture camps, including Sde Teiman, before being held in Ofer and Al-Naqab (Negev) prisons, where conditions remain unbearable. He stressed that no one is released without enduring severe abuse, shackling, coercion, and forced signatures under duress, calling on the world to act urgently to free those still trapped in captivity.

🚨"I appeal to every conscience still alive in this world" This call is for Dr. Hussam Idris Amer Abu Safiya, a Palestinian pediatrician and director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, who led medical care for children and civilians throughout the assault and refused to abandon his patients despite repeated threats. On 27 December 2024, Israeli occupation forces abducted him during a military raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital,one of the last functioning hospitals in northern Gaza, because he chose to stay with the wounded.

Since then, Dr. Abu Safiya has been held as a hostage inside Israeli occupation torture camps, transferred between facilities including Sde Teiman and Ofer, without charge or trial, under laws that allow indefinite detention based on secret evidence. His family was denied information about his whereabouts for weeks, and when contact was finally allowed, he reported severe torture, beatings, prolonged solitary confinement, denial of medical care for heart and vision conditions, and extreme weight loss under deplorable detention conditions.

My body is completely exhausted… I’ve been infected with the cruel coronavirus and I can no longer do anything. I feel drained in every part of my body.
Rafif is safe; she returned with her mother to the Mawasi area of Khan Younis to stay with my family. Since 12 PM, I’ve been at the hospital for medical tests, and it was confirmed that I tested positive for COVID-19.
I couldn’t return to them out of fear of infecting my family and my daughter Rafif, so I went to stay at my aunt’s place for a few days until I recover and regain the strength to continue.

They take money from us our entire lives, call it "security," and then dictate when we are allowed to be financially "insecure" enough to collect.

If you collect before age 67 and accept the lesser amount, but also keep working (because that's so much fun), they deduct $1 from your benefits for every $2 you earn above the annual limit.

For 2025, that limit is $23,400.
