@BarneyR56098270@LindaHetze7ds@Liza137823 Fact.
The federal base wage for tipped workers has been stuck at $2.13 per hour since 1991. When a 1996 amendment permanently decoupled it from the regular federal minimum wage
@LindaHetze7ds@Liza137823 Incorrect. Most tip based workers receive $2-3 an hour. Tips can make a big difference.
I would never work a tip based gig due to some of the cheapscapes in this and other post.
@jrj1130@Liza137823 Wrong. The general standard for tip start at 15%. Which is $4.95 for the $33. So the $6 tip is above the start.
15% to start, higher for better service, and less for worse service.
Was with a geouo that got terrible service. They wanted to leave no tip. I left a penny.
@NoContextHumans I think this mainly falls on the cheap-assed owners for not paying their employees at least minimum wage.
On the other hand, I do tip my delivery drivers and the wait staff if I go in to eat.
@za_usrt If you don't like religion with your food, don't go there, which is why I don't go to Chick-fil-A, Hobby Lobby, or other places that are hyper religious.

@lady_valor_07 I lived in Quincy, Illinois, right off the forest preserve. My friends and I would hike with our canteens filled from a natural spring and play hide-and-seek for hours.
