@LindaHetze7ds @Liza137823 Incorrect. Most tip based workers receive $2-3 an hour. Tips can make a big difference.
I would never work a tip based gig due to some of the cheapscapes in this and other post.

@jrj1130 @Liza137823 Wrong. The general standard for tip start at 15%. Which is $4.95 for the $33. So the $6 tip is above the start.
15% to start, higher for better service, and less for worse service.
Was with a geouo that got terrible service. They wanted to leave no tip. I left a penny.

@lady_valor_07 15% is the usual tip amount, unless it's adjusted for better-than-usual or substandard service.
15% of $500 would have been $75.

@NoContextHumans I think this mainly falls on the cheap-assed owners for not paying their employees at least minimum wage.
On the other hand, I do tip my delivery drivers and the wait staff if I go in to eat.

@za_usrt If you don't like religion with your food, don't go there, which is why I don't go to Chick-fil-A, Hobby Lobby, or other places that are hyper religious.
