maybe the first one ever?

$MAX is a token where every swap is also a bet. no oracle subscriptions, no callbacks - the randomness comes from a beacon run by cloudflare, the ethereum foundation & others

here's how the machine works 🧵👇

▫️the swap is the spin

max win (@maxwinrh) is a casino token on robinhood chain. the casino itself is a uniswap v4 hook attached to the MAX pool, plus the token contract itself - no deposits, no accounts, the pool is the house.

i) you swap
ii) the hook takes 4% of the swap as your bet, locked to a random number that doesn't exist yet
iii) a few seconds later new randomness is available from drand
iv) you claim & the contract checks the proof on-chain
v) it pays you (if you won)

buying the token IS pulling the lever.

no countdown either. old rounds stay checkable forever, so you can claim in a minute or a month.

heads up before you try it: the uniswap app doesn't place bets and has lower lp
need to swap on their website to place bets and access the main lp (same as PUNKSTR etc)

▫️what you can win

every bet lands on 1 of 5 tiers:

i) lose, but get a 6% rebate back → 63.34%
ii) 2x → 34.48%
iii) 10x → 2.07%
iv) 50x → 0.10%
v) 250x jackpot → 1 in 145,000

ex: 1 eth swap → 4% is the bet (0.04 eth) → jackpot hits → 10 eth of $MAX

with 6% rebates on loss, the EV is ~98.8%.

one more detail i liked: a single win is capped at 80% of the live bankroll. 20% always stays, so the pot can rebuild incase of a huge win.

▫️the token & the pot

1b $MAX, minted once:

i) 760m → casino pool
ii) 100m → 1% fee pool
iii) 100m → rebate pot
iv) 40m → starting house bankroll
v) 0 → team

the team gets the 1% uniswap LP fee, which is in ETH and MAX.

both LP positions are owned by the max win contract itself.
liquidity is locked forever, no multi-sig or timelock.

the rebate pot can only pay rebates. the bankroll can only be drained by wins.

i) 374 wallets
ii) 3,208 bets
iii) 157.9m $MAX wagered
iv) 136.4m $MAX won back by players
v) biggest win 1.4m $MAX

▫️the ugly part

- need to use the website to place bets, uniswap app has no bets and lower lp
- the contracts are not externally audited, but do they have extensive tests in a public repo - ask your fav agent
- it lives on robinhood chain - if chain activity cools, this cools w/ it (see my $PONS piece).

so yea. a slot machine welded into a uniswap pool, & liquidity nobody can pull.
imo it's nice to see devs doing something different for a change.
