जब भी राष्ट्रीय गीत #VandeMataram गाया या बजाया जाएगा, तो श्रोता/दर्शक को सावधान मुद्रा में खड़ा होना होगा. फिल्मों/डॉक्यूमेंट्री में बजने पर यह नियम लागू नहीं होगा.

राष्ट्रपति के आगमन पर, तिरंगे के ध्वजारोहण के समय, राज्यपालों के भाषण, सरकारी कार्यक्रम, स्कूलों और औपचारिक अवसरों पर पूरा संस्करण गाया/बजाया जाएगा.

निजी आयोजनों और सिनेमा हॉल को इससे छूट दी गई है.
