We're hard at work improving the Play Yard at #Mayfield this week - please note that some areas will be out of bounds while works are ongoing.

We will endeavour to keep as much of the area as possible accessible; you'll be able to fully access the Play Yard from Sat 23rd March.

#Onthisday in 2022, #Manchester's first new public park in 100 years opened. Typically, it rained, but that didn't stop it from being a vibrant celebration of this fantastic space.

Today, we celebrate the first anniversary of life at Mayfield, and look forward to what's to come.

Mayfield's #smokefree initiative will help cut down on litter - cigarette butts are the number one most littered item in the UK, and ultimately harm the environment.

This will protect the #biodiverse natural #habitats and #wildlife here at Mayfield Park.
