There is no way to separate leadership and communication. One may be able to manage the systems of an organization at some removed altitude without well developed communication skills. Leading people, really leading them, is not possible without communication.
Those who refuse wisdom apart from specific applications are expressing their intellectual and spiritual laziness. The thoughtful, receptive spirit can accept transferable concepts and make the application.
Great leaders pay attention to details but never dither over the petty stuff. They listen to reports, pay attention to their team’s concerns, and never shrug off the important managerial issues. HOWEVER, they never lose sight of the vision.
