All around you, everyday, examples abound of a largely criminal, corrupt and incompetent police force/ judiciary. The criminal justice system is utterly dysfunctional and is the reason for the impunity.
An Igbo man has insisted I must be Igbo bc of my skin. A Yoruba person has told me I don’t matter bc I’m from a smaller ethnic group. An Uhrobo person has told
me I can’t claim my father’s state. When we’re ready 2 fight ethnic bigotry, everyone must admit they’re compromised.
Twice in recent weeks, Obafemi Hamzat and the APC have given us insight into how they see you.
In August: can't afford rent? Move back in with your parents.
This week: Lagos traffic is "not a problem, it's just a lifestyle."
Daily soul-crushing traffic is not a lifestyle. It is governance failure.
Vast numbers of Lagosians leave home before 5am and get back after their children are asleep. They lose hours of work, money on fuel and fares, time, health and wellbeing they will never get back. That is a cost to every household and every business in this state.
Housing, public transportation and traffic are closely related problems. You cannot fix one without planning for the others. But the first step to fixing them is to acknowledge them.
This government has ignored the pains of Lagosians for years. This is just the latest example. Lagos needs a government that acknowledges problems and uses its resources to solve them, not one that celebrates them.
Inefficiency is not culture, it’s failure

Really don’t understand the argument of scrapping VAR, it’s a replay button.
If there is problems with it, it is with the people using it. It’s like blaming the oven for burning the food.
1. All your officers are supposed to have body cams for evidence and their own safety.
2. People record for their safety and evidence. If your officers are doing their jobs professionally, they need not worry about being on record.
3. This is 2026. Let's act like it abeg!
Really difficult one for me- will never feel we really fully explored this talent without cultivating him in central areas.
In fact I’ll go one step further & feel he is Mikel’s biggest let down player development wise.
Leaves the squad without a vital touchline LW outlet.
This! The amount of folks that feigned ignorance to the blatant bias and gaslit those who pointed it out at the time was unbelievable, including some so called Gooners.
Mike Dean spent over two decades in the PGMOL.
Mark Clattenburg spent 13 years in the PGMOL.
Since retiring, both have taken to numerous podcasts/media to almost brag about what they did during their careers.
The fact they feel comfortable talking like this, imagine what they're not willing to talk about from their time in PGMOL.
Here are just four examples from the last few years.

@_Boluwafemi@CombRazor@PulseNigeria247 I read @CombRazor blog posts on Nigerian music history over 2 decades ago, that’s the person you are trying to argue with, just for your information.🤷🏾♂️
Impunity and disregard of decent order has become our way. When Yaradua was dying people lied and governed in his name. They did the same with Buhari. They are doing so again. This is high treason. This is why I say nobody over 70 should run for office. I am 70
👏👏THAT'S HOW TO MAKE A DIAMOND LEAGUE DEBUT!!

Kayinsola Ajayi has put the big boys on notice running an equal Nigerian Record to win the men's 100m at the Eugene Diamond League.
Ajayi won the race in 9.84s, beating Jamaica's Oblique Seville who was 2nd in 9.89s. Christian Coleman came in 3rd in 9.95s.
