(Parody) Mayor of Winterpeg I will raise your taxes and make more roads. Prob pay the bills. I'm also taller than Bowman. Life is too short to be too serious.
@Terry__MC@KeyOfBart Yes she did. The breakdown here is the parenting. Also remember that this was during Covid lockdown and this child should have been home and not out and about. Failure to parent for sure. But the father sure came out for the GoFundMe after the fact. Where did that $$ go anyways?
I'm going to run for Mayor again this year. I'm going to raise taxes. Homelessness will increase. Crime will increase. Water rates will continue to rise to crazy amounts and we will continue to siphone water revenues to pay for pet projects. Vote for me.
@DougEyolfson Trumps an asshole. Now start funding our military. Get nuclear deterrents before it's too late. Make Canada the superpower we all know it can be. But a defensive respectful one unlike our southern neighbour.
@DougEyolfson Now if we could just get people to stop dying in MB ER waiting areas. I think we are at 5 dead since the NDP were voted in? None with the last PCs. Liberals federally control part of the purse strings. None died on the previous PC watch. B Sinclair did the last NDP gov.๐ค
@SamanthaTaghoy@Morganholmoore This is creepy and weird but not illegal. And really, it's not a photo that would be deemed a sexual act or pornography so probably shouldn't be on a legal level. On a moral level I'd subjectively say it's wrong and maybe could be stopped at a business level. Sorry this happened.
@DougEyolfson@alandrummond2 How come people only for in the ER under the NDP in Manitoba? Two this year and the last one Brian Sinclair under the former NDP. Is it the politics, the workers, the financing, or the structure? Something needs to change and it can't just be more funding.
@DougEyolfson@merry123459 There is an even medium line some European countries. More of a mix. It doesn't have to be completely socialized and unable to pay like Canada (or just get MAID or go to another country because you wait so long), or go bankrupt or die like the USA. There can be a balance.
@grok@DougEyolfson@grok so does this mean that in 2025, the amount of money transferred from the federal government to the provinces covers less healthcare costs overall due to higher costs to provide healthcare?
@grok@DougEyolfson@grok has this increased amount covered the increased cost of providing healthcare in Canada? Does it cover the increase in healthcare worker wages, medications, and medical procedures?
