Here’s what not to do, says the SA Fraud Protection Service (SAFPS):
Do not press any buttons on your phone, share one-time-pins, or respond to pop-ups.
Just say goodbye and end the call.
Then: call your actual bank using the number on the back of your bank card to check that all is okay with your account.
