"This Constitution... shall be the supreme Law of the Land... and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution..."
@krassenstein This is just red meat for the primaries, not a real policy proposal.
Instead, how about we adequately fund civic education and media literacy K-12?
@MarshaBlackburn@MarshaBlackburn Trump was indicted by a federal grand jury (i.e. US citizens). This just means they saw / heard evidence, most of which we have not, and they believe there’s evidence of a crime.

@SpeakerMcCarthy Presidents don’t indict, but you know that. That’s why there’s an independent special counsel.
If Biden (or Pence) had c. docs and didn’t know, no criminal intent. If there’s evidence Trump knew he had them and tried to conceal, would be different story.
@MichaelSteele Ethics Commission guidance on gift giving to teachers:
“In general, a public employee may not accept any gift worth $50 or more… a reasonable person would think that the public employee might unduly show favor…”
@SpeakerMcCarthy “A grand jury is a group of 23 persons working to consider evidence, then decide if enough exists to indict a person or corporation. The grand jury does not decide the guilt or innocence of the accused. Rather, it decides if there is probable cause to bring the accused to trial.”
