@mrmarksteel Lived here for 10 years. We were told that the cinema was used as a test cinema for new films as EG had the most ‘normal’ demographic. Not sure what that means! There is a podcast on EG which may help you.
@VictoriaAtkins We’ve already got LOADS of beds, no nurses, no doctors, no porters, no admin staff. Our parents and ourselves have paid for this through taxation and YOU are dismantelling it.
@10DowningStreet ❌You have ignored and delayed many of the workforce plan recommendations
❌ You’ve not given fair rises
❌A plan doesn’t work if you don’t have the staff to complete
❌ Patients are more concerned about being treat quickly and efficiently.
🙄
@SteveBarclay You need to get your own ship in order before criticising the Labour Party. Did you come into Government to help the country or yourself?
@sarataylor99 @WelshGasDoc As awful as this is for everyone involved, I think your Father received the most appropriate medical advice in this instance.
@mikeportsmouth Even more frightening is that this is what the NHS could be if the government don’t retain staff. What these Vets offer works, but it’s often the most expensive treatment with no real care of what the end point will be.
A record 170,000 staff left the NHS last year
It doesn’t matter how many NHS staff the government say they will recruit
Without better working conditions they will continue to leave in their droves and there will never be enough
Please RT if you agree

@SteveBarclay@TheBMA @BMA_JuniorDocs Doctors have been fair and reasonable in telling the government for THE LAST TEN years that you are doing nothing to retain staff and decreasing in real terms the level of staff to patient ratios. It’s extremely disappointing you let people die.
@SteveBarclay Oh my god you’re talking about something that already happens in the NHS. We need you to retain staff, encourage them back and recruit more.
