Over the past three weeks, students from @MbararaUST have been undertaking their annual Community-Based Education, Research and Service (COBERS) placements across Uganda.
Since the university's founding in 1989, COBERS has remained one of MUST's flagship programmes, bridging classroom learning with real community health needs.
Based at health facilities, students gain hands-on experience in primary healthcare while working closely with communities. Their work spans health promotion, disease prevention, WASH, One Health, and other pillars that contribute to Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
@computingatmust@sg_must@Twongyirwe While reviewing the Tracer Study data, Dr. Twongyirwe noted that future research tools will be refined to map out long-term career trajectories and better capture the quality of employment (salaried vs. self-employed).
