I just saw a woman share a photo of her newborn with a filter over her that said “I support the 2nd amendment.” Ma’am that child is fresh out the womb she can’t even support her own head
I took a $6000 pay cut bc I didn’t want to deal with a 60 something year old bully. She drove several young teachers out of the profession, and the principal who took over after me. School closed 6 months after I left.
Bullied herself right out of a job lol
HR: We lost the new hire today.
CEO: What happened?
HR: He resigned after his first month.
CEO: That makes no sense. We doubled his previous salary.
HR: Yes, but salary was not the issue.
CEO: Then what was?
HR: He got bullied by one of our long-serving employees. When he reported it, the bully only became more emboldened.
CEO: His case was still on the table.
HR: He felt the company was protecting the bully by not acting quickly and also allowing her to act like she owns the workplace, wielding informal power.
CEO: But patience matters while we conduct a due investigation.
HR: So does urgency. He reported the case two weeks ago and tabled evidence. You have CCTV footage. New employees need to feel more welcomed than bullied. He felt left alone.
CEO: People should not rush to make their own conclusions.
HR: He did not rush to make any judgment. He simply could not withstand a workplace bully who seemed untouchable by management.
CEO: Still, he needed to wait for our investigation.
HR: That is exactly why he left. He realized very quickly that even with better pay, he was not ready to face a workplace tyrant while management watched.
CEO: That is unfortunate.
HR: Yes. We offered him double the salary, but also gave him a preview of a workplace where bullying was normalized and some employees appeared untouchable. Is that how we treat new employees?
CEO: So what are you saying?
HR: A higher salary can attract people. But if workplace bullies are allowed to act untouchable, no amount of money will make them stay.
@Bombona_asesina (It was a really bad fight, I got bit, I thought one of our dogs was going to lose an eye) and when he answered I said “I need you to come home.” I didn’t even finish the sentence before I heard him yell “I’m leaving” and hung up. Made a 30 minute drive in 15
Of course she’s empty you fucking cumquat she was extremely sick and prescribed 12 medications that weren’t helping and was married to a loser who, knowing all of this, apparently needed to be told she shouldn’t left alone and now her babies are gone.
Fuck you.
In 2014 I was in London wearing a maxi skirt the bottom got caught in a walking escalator on the tube. Thought I was gonna have to ride the rest the way home in a thing. Wish I would’ve kept the torn skirt as a souvenir lol
Morning and all I can think is how much better and easier my life would be if I could be like this all the but I know I can’t and it is unendingly frustrating
Idk if this is a universal experience but the worst part of executive dysfunction honestly are the good days. I’m sitting here with myself and all my babies bathed and moisturized, lunch and pump packed for tomorrow, kids clothes laid out for the week, coffee set to auto for the
I remember finding taco bell sauce packets in a drawer of the refrigerator, and that's what I had to feed myself for and entire weekend when I was 8 years old
I remember when I hid in a closet and ate bad sandwich meat at 2 a.m. when I was 14
Before she died, my mom used to tell this cute story about how she found me eating jarred salsa with a spoon when I was 3, I just "loved it so much," but what she didn't mention was that a jar in the fridge door was all there was for me to find for myself to survive on
I have a lot of memories I never want children to be forced into reliving for the rest of their lives
I don't know if it's brokenness or lack thereof that makes people so wicked, but I'm going to choose to be grateful that you don't know what it's like or hope you can overcome what has made you so rotten
It's one thing to be a troll on the internet and another to actively advocate for the starvation of people you have deemed lesser than you
No, I wasn't born to people who were the shining example of hard work and good choices, but I also starved just like you think I should have, and I will never be able to forget it
$35 a year to prevent that for even a single child I will never meet will be money well spent
This is the only trauma dump I will ever write; I hope that it finds you well, and you truly consider what hunger means for millions of children born to parents and conditions out of their control
the year of the snake begins today... a time of shedding your old skin so that you can grow & make room for what is new... time to let go of what doesn't align with who you are becoming... it calls for deep reflection, strategic moves, and quiet power. trust the process...
