A hostel that once sheltered thousands displaced by war, including refugees, is ready for a new chapter. Renovated by UNHCR in Port Sudan, it will now support 1,200 students with a better learning environment.

After over 6 months of hard work, refugees in Um Rakuba camp in #Gedaref🇸🇩 are harvesting fresh produce! 🍅🌿🥒🌱
Thanks to a partnership with @MastercardFdn, unused land in the camp was transformed into a community farm. Refugees also received agricultural inputs and training.
