Another industry leading result from Morro do Ferro: MFSR-054 returned 88m @ 6.33% TREO from surface, including 50m @ 9.0% TREO and 20m @ 12.05% TREO.
The 20m interval contains 2.18% MREO—Nd, Pr, Dy and Tb oxides. Broad, high-grade mineralisation from surface. $PNN #RareEarths
We’ve intersected further broad, high-grade rare earth mineralisation in drilling at the Morro do Ferro Rare Earth Project in Brazil, with MFSR-054 returning thick, massive high-grade rare earth mineralisation from surface.
MFSR-054 delivered:
- 88 metres at 6.33% TREO, including 1.19% MREO from surface
- 50 metres at 9.0% TREO, including 1.56% MREO from surface
- 20 metres at 12.05% TREO, including 2.18% MREO from 18 metres
MFSR-054 ended in mineralisation, with the deepest continuous downhole result received to date, and the deposit boundary has not been reached.
We will now commence planning for a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at the MDF Project, which will encompass the high-grade results from the Company’s drilling to date.

The high grade from surface with shallow, massive, weathered, free-dig mineralisation is much preferred over a folded hard-rock system whose best new intercepts sit well down-dip and will need blasting, selectivity and a higher strip. Mineralisation of these types can be thin (deformed dykes), separated by baron making it difficult to mine.
Morro has the varying REE with gradual grade contacts enabling pit size and design to be optimised purely on economics, not limited by geological structure or lithology boundaries.
A lot to be excited about for shareholders!
We’ve been featured in @Stockhead’s latest look at Argentina’s growing position as a global #lithium jurisdiction, following Liontown’s move into the country’s lithium brine sector.
While @PowerMin_PNN's current focus is the Morro do Ferro Rare Earth Project in Brazil, we retain a significant position in Argentina’s Lithium Triangle through our Salta Lithium Project.
The article highlights our proposed joint venture with Summit Nanotech, under which Summit Explore will fund up to US$6 million of work across the area of interest, with a pathway towards a 5,000t commercial DLE plant and an option to acquire the Salta Project for US$50 million during the PFS period.
With increasing investment and corporate activity across Argentina’s lithium sector, Salta provides Power with continued exposure to one of the world’s key lithium regions alongside our strategic focus on rare earths in Brazil.

Public demand rose 0.2%q or 2.1%y and remains around 28% of GDP compared to a pre covid norm of 22-23%. This is using up spare capacity, depressing productivity and contributing to the inflation problem!
Our CEO, Alistair Stephens, joined @StockheadAU-Long Shortz to discuss the latest drilling success at our Morro do Ferro project, where a third consecutive high-grade hole has further strengthened the project’s rare earth potential.
Alistair shares insights into what the latest results reveal about the scale and continuity of mineralisation, the significance of mineralisation extending at depth, and the next steps as Power Minerals advances towards a maiden inferred resource, further drilling and metallurgical test work.

📝 $SGQ undoubtedly world-class after the latest resource upgrade with over 111Mt TREO. Looking at the largest comparable peers, one wonders... surely the re-rate is near.

I’m bleeding from the eyeballs with the amount of tax my family and I pay. If I left Australia tomorrow, I’d be financially better off instantly. Productive Australians are already leaving, and it will accelerate. Fewer people are building businesses, taking risks and paying the bills, while government keeps expanding welfare, bureaucracy and mass migration. Eventually, the people carrying the system simply decide they’ve had enough.
Another follow up though for $PNN but on the hydromet stage. Gives a complete picture on my theory on met and the ideal "base case" I'm looking to be proven in the company's own met testing. Like the prior post, this is a simplified thinking of the impacts.
We’ve delivered broad, high-grade rare earth mineralisation from surface in the third hole of our ongoing maiden drilling campaign at our Morro do Ferro Rare Earth Project in Brazil. MFSR-053 delivered 𝟭𝟬𝟴.𝟱𝟱𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝟰.𝟭𝟱% 𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗢 from surface, including a project-record MREO peak sample of 1.45m at 4.40% MREO with the highest MREO sample recorded at Morro do Ferro.
The results also highlight exceptional magnet REE grades, with Nd-Pr, elevated Dy-Tb and additional heavy rare earths, while mineralisation intersected at depth provides evidence that mineralisation continues downwards to greater depths than previously measured.
Power Minerals Chief Executive Officer, Alistair Stephens, said: “These initial results from the third hole in our ongoing drilling campaign at the MDF Project are highly encouraging and continue the pattern of broad, high-grade mineralisation from our first two holes. The peak interval of 4.40% MREO, together with elevated levels of dysprosium, terbium, and other heavy rare earths, highlights the potentially strategic character of the rare-earth basket.
Just as importantly, the limited deeper assays received to date indicate that mineralisation may continue beyond the depths previously tested. While considerable work remains, including the remaining assays, mineralogical studies, metallurgical test work and resource definition, we believe Morro do Ferro is emerging as an increasingly compelling rare-earth project. We intend to advance it methodically, responsibly and with strong technical discipline.”
