Dear @Target,
I can't help but notice the quality of your Up & Up freezer bags went way down. They don't seal any more, which defeats the point. Why would you make a product that doesn't function?
Whoever made that decision just hurt the brand's reputation and your future sales.
@officeladiespod
Things you learn from your coworkers:
- A boat's name
- A subreddit that pulls you in hard (that's what sea said…)

Dear @CoxComm@CoxHelp,
Timeline of our story so far (part 4):
- All seems well … for now
- Rest assured, we will look at our next bill (and frankly, every bill) very closely.
Dear @CoxComm@CoxHelp,
Timeline of our story so far (part 3):
- We spent over an hour on the phone* to remove the $75 “cancellation fee” (no notice) that removed “Cox Complete Care” that someone added without our consent.
*Includes the 2 times Cox disconnected our call.
Dear @CoxComm@CoxHelp,
Timeline of our story so far (part 2):
- We spend 2+ hours with chat/call support to remove “Cox Complete Care” — the service we didn’t consent to
- This month, Cox (you) charged us a $75“cancellation fee” for that service — again, no consent or notice.
Dear @CoxComm@CoxHelp,
Timeline of our story so far:
- Tech (nice guy) visits house to fix replace old coax
- Tech says nothing about billing
- Cox adds $10/month service plan without consent
Dear @CoxComm@CoxHelp,
Problems with your phone support system, let me count the ways (cont):
4) Agents quote us conflicting policy statements, making it difficult to know what’s true.
5) Some agents claim to have put notes in our file, but later agents don’t see them.
Dear @CoxComm@CoxHelp,
Problems with your phone support system, let me count the ways:
1) First tier agents rarely have the power to resolve a problem
2) It often takes 2+ transfers to get to the right “department”.
3) 2+ transfers ended the call, forcing us to start over.
Dear @CoxComm@CoxHelp,
You secretly added service plans and cancellation fees without disclosure or consent multiple times. We’ve wasted 3+ hours trying to fix your mistake in your DMV-style, bureaucratic labyrinth of a phone support system.
I posit the voices of @ouegner and @michaelpollan are strikingly similar — e.g. tone, inflection, and perhaps a touch of vocal fry — albeit at their own pitch.
Hello @officeladiespod and Merry Sun Orbit @AngelaKinsey. I’ve never had a work-birthday cake because I always take that day off. I did have a quit-cake once though.
You have my sympathy for getting bluffed by an incredible actor with a proven poker face. 🙂
Dear @MetLife
After 44 minutes, 5+ agents, 10+ holds, and 4 transfers, we were FINALLY able to update my email address; something that should have only taken me a minute on your website, if only it would have let me.
1.5 stars
Dear @MetLife,
You win the prize for one of the poorest customer experiences. The phone agents are nice, but the phone system isn’t helpful, your systems are fragmented, and the agents themselves don’t know how to solve a basic customer service issue, like changing an email.
Question @DropboxSupport,
Is there a chance the Dropbox macOS app will behave like a proper macOS app by giving me the choice to display/hide Dropbox's menubar item?
