Kerala High Court suspends the Additional District Judge after his Minor Son's Fatal Mercedes Benz Crash 🚨

Kochi City Police booked the judge under Section 199A of the Motor Vehicles Act, concerning an owner's or guardian's responsibility when a juvenile commits a motor-vehicle offence. The Kerala High Court had permitted the police to proceed against him. The case was transferred to the District Crime Branch amid questions about the initial police response and the release of the teenager on station bail.

The Juvenile Justice Board granted bail to the 17-year-old after he was taken into custody again. Police said they would approach the Sessions Court seeking cancellation of that bail.

The case stems from Jayabalakrishnan, a 55-year-old roadside eatery owner returning home after work when the fatal collision occurred by the 17 year old son of District Court Judge. His death has left his family grieving and demanding answers.

The central demand remains equal treatment under the law. The victim's family deserves a thorough investigation, transparent handling of the evidence and a fair opportunity to seek justice. The judicial position of a parent should neither shield anyone from lawful scrutiny nor be treated as proof of wrongdoing.

📅 Oct 19: I visited the E-kart hub personally. The manager assured me it would be delivered. It wasn't.

📅 Oct 21: I visited AGAIN. This time, I was told the manager was absent and they couldn't hand over an expensive product.

☎️ Customer care? Endless calls. The same robotic response: "We're working on it. We'll deliver ASAP." 🤡

💰 I requested cancellation and a refund, but couldn't get a cancellation option. My money is stuck while Flipkart's promises keep going in circles.

What exactly is the point of an "out for delivery" status if nobody delivers? What is the point of customer support if nobody resolves the issue?

And what about the Open Box Delivery experience? Customers deserve a fair opportunity to inspect expensive products and a clear, transparent resolution process - not endless uncertainty.

A young man, his father and friend were allegedly as$aulted and publicly humiliated by a teenage girl's family in Kolkata's Behala.

The family reportedly confined and attacked the young man after allegedly catching him kissing the girl. When his father arrived, he was allegedly threatened with a gun and forced to choose between shooting his own son or walking n@ked in public.

The father and son were reportedly stripped and paraded through the streets. Kolkata Police arrested the girl's parents and uncle. An attempted m*rder case and other charges have been registered, with further investigation underway.

After 60 hours, my first UPI payment of ₹1,400 was finally confirmed. The cab driver received it too.

He ended up receiving ₹2,800 for a ₹1,400 ride.

When I asked him to refund the extra ₹1,400, he said:

Sir, kahi jaana hoga toh bataiyega. Free rahunga toh aapko drop kar dunga. Abhi paise toh nahi hain.

Instead of returning my money, he offered me a free ride someday, as if he were doing me a favour.

This is why people with this mindset struggle to succeed in life. They may earn money, but they fail to earn trust.

The teenager was taken into custody and later released on station bail under applicable juvenile justice procedure. The teenager claimed that heavy rain and waterlogging reduced visibility, causing the accident. However, station bail does not mean that the accused has been declared innocent or that the investigation has ended.

Another fatal luxury car crash that killed a scooterist in Kerala by a 17 year old, son of District Judge ⚠️

The accident occurred at around 2:20 AM to 3:00 AM at Cheranalloor in Kochi. A speeding luxury Mercedes-Benz car, registered under the name of the additional judge, rammed into a scooter from behind. The scooter rider, 55-year-old Jayabalakrishnan of Manjali, was killed. He was a local street vendor returning home after closing his wayside eatery (thattukada) near a temple in Chittoor.

The 17-year-old minor, who does not possess a driving license, reportedly took the car out for a night drive. He was speeding at 100km/hr while the crash occured as per reports. The victim's niece JAYALAKSHMI claims that the accused was not shown to them at the police station and Kerala police insisted them to not get emotionally driven by this incident as if this isn't a big loss at all. The father of the 17 year old accused who is a district court judge spoke rudely at the police station asking them not to teach him law as per Jayalakshmi's claim.

The central issue is the loss of a human life. Jayabalakrishnan's family has suffered an irreversible loss, and the circumstances surrounding his death must be investigated thoroughly. The victim and his family deserve justice, while the investigation and any subsequent legal proceedings must establish responsibility on the basis of evidence rather than influence, status or public speculation.
