You need to remember to lot of people it's entertainment. It's a pantomime played out on tv. Good guy vs bad guy in an entertaining way, despite the risks most don't understand etc
If vale cheered when he went down that's poor. He should know better. But for the masses it's part of the attraction. It's entertainment to most on quiet Sundays.
