I am not a watch guy but the title caught my interest. So glad I read it. It is one of the most beautifully explained and illustrated articles I ever read. Well done Bartosz Ciechanowski https://t.co/a0GnzOxypO
@kkmaway SpaceX, Anthropic et. al will attract a lot of capital and these sit outside of the S&P 500. At the same time Google & Meta talking about an equity raise. OBBB was front loaded, Straight still closed and maybe a hike or 2? Would go as high as 25%.
@super_macro An under appreciated point, net interest expense as a share of national income fell, aiding the post-COVID increase in profits. The St. Louis Fed did some work on this.
@account_blown Since you bought as a wealth hedge, it seems to be doing the job. As it has likely grown faster than the rest of your portfolio, it probably makes sense to rebalance. Maybe not to your initial target but if a 5% allocation is now 10%, maybe rebalance to 7.5%.
@Brian_Stoffel_ 100%. Seems like a great coach that players loved to play for. One thing to keep in mind is that we arenโt in the building all week. We only see a few hours on Sunday.
@LonelyGutter 100%. Now they embraced gambling, it costs people money, not just heart pain. Got to be consistent. (Still the best professional sports league by far!)
@dampedspring Thanks for sharing. Markers are efficient, everyone was happy with their positions yesterday. Mortgages are now tighter so every investor that can will sell them to the buyer overpaying or step away. When that stops, spreads will return to where free capital flows had them.
@BobEUnlimited There used to be an illiquidity premium in private markets. Investors assumed it was for the difficulty in turning that investment into cash. What if it was actually for the lack of transparency into how the price was determined.

@mylattice24@iamcoriarnold This is one of those situations where you both can be right. From birth, the avg is 78. But if you make it to 70, the avg is 85 for males and 87 for females, which is what you are seeing and probably most relevant for a planning perspective.
@HelenHet20@fejau_inc@ForwardGuidance I listened yesterday, it was incredibly insightful and would highly recommend. (I have been googling you for other papers and insights since.)
@unusual_whales After Trump punished India for buying Russian oil, China made a 30 year deal to buy Russian gas the next week. China does not feel this way and that is what matters.
