I'm coming to the conclusion that business is the last reserve of adventure that's left in the 21st century.
2 centuries ago you could just pick yourself up, and go on an adventure on a ship or go to the US wild west. These days, this option is gone. Unless you're 1 in 10 million lucky and get hired by SpaceX.
But start your own agency or any other business for that matter, and you'll encounter demons, dragons, have exhilarating thrills, crushing defeats, near-death experiences - stuff you simply cannot get in most other walks of life - definitely not as an employee.
Fun matters and is a part of it, but I think expecting business to be mostly fun means you set yourself up for quite a bit of disappointment.
@MattLucero_ 100% - we once had 5 calls booked from 10000 people approached. But guess what - it was for a business broker who closed one of these 5 calls and it was a $120k deal.
I don't get the complaints - "There was a time when ppl who followed you actually saw your stuff". I follow @KingVelesI and I see almost every one of his posts in the feed when I log on. Same with other creators on here. The more I engage with their stuff (even just dwelling), the more I see of them.
