IF YOU SELL B2B - BOOKMARK THIS:

At the end of your B2B Discovery Calls - run this exact 7 minute closer and you'll 10x your chances of closing.

1. 10x more engagement via email (which closes deals)
2. The decision making maps no one else asks for
3. The review call booked before you hang up
4. A commitment to review the first scope
5. A prospect who knows exactly what to do next
6. A prospect who isn't confused on whats next
7. A prospect who gives you internal readings
8. More time to research accounts that are actually engaged
9. 100s of other peripheral benefits

The closer is in the image attached.

You're using the final 7 minutes of discovery to tell them:

> a clean email thread is being opened immediately
> Draft 1 of the scope is coming within 24-48 hours
> Draft 1 is not supposed to be final
> you need their first layer of feedback
> the next review call is being booked right now
> they need to commit 15 minutes to reviewing the scope before that call

Then you ask:

> who else is going to shape this decision?
> when was the last time leadership approved an engagement?
> what did they like seeing?
> what made it feel risky?
> what do they normally push back on, shut down or need clarified?

you do this, and you'll 10x your engagement via email - which is where deals actually close - you gotta get them dancing with you in the emails, create a culture and environment between you and them that is easy to engage with and the best way to do that is clarity + micro step prescriptions

whether you're selling a retainer or charging 50k like we do, that's not a crazy amount but it's not tiny either - so you're usually in a 2-6 week sales cycle

not a lot of time - your only job in that window is to keep them dancing with you

that means getting responses, prescribing clear singular micro-steps, removing confusion, and baking in a culture of communication between you and the prospect

The first scope is not a final proposal they quietly take away and say yes or no to.

It is Draft 1.

You're telling them before it even exists that it will likely be far from where it needs to be and you need their feedback to fix it.

Now they know they're supposed to participate.
They review it, tell you where there's confusion, uncertainty, risk, missing context or something that does not feel aligned and then you turn around the next version with those concerns addressed.

Thats how you get their fingerprints on the scope.

We leave the call with our finger on the pulse of how their org approves engagements, who else glances at them, what leadership liked last time, what felt risky + what normally gets shut down internally.

Now you can build the first scope around the actual people who need to approve it instead of writing a beautiful document that your champion forwards into a room you know nothing about.

And since we charge ~50K we want to invest 80% of our time into the 20% of accounts that are hot. We can't put a prospect through a 3K/mo retainer sales process and expect to come out the other side with a 50K engagement.

You have to invest into that account when they're engaging, hours in deep research better understanding their industry, transcripts you have with them, decks they've sent, growth targets and stakeholders - everything and anything so you can walk them down the path and create a culture of investing time into each other until the finish line is crossed.

if I see even one real reply from a decision-maker, I'll sit in research for at least an hour.

I'll get to know their market, customers, bottlenecks, competitors - all of it. (All via Codex deep research skills)

I'll earn the deal and I only need to keep them engaged for 1-3 weeks.

Run the closer in the screenshot during the final 7 minutes.

Do not hang up without the review call booked, their feedback commitment + the decision map.

you apply this to your 5 digit model and you're 10x'ing your chances 100%

@prestonboling get .info instead

[Termsheetinator @termsheetinator]

Don't buy cold-email domains with these keywords:

- group = rank 5
- consult = rank 10
- capital = rank 12
- partner = rank 18

If we see them at InfraSuite, we will warn you to not use them and then the risk is on you:

xyzgroup(.)com, xyzcapital(.)com, etc...

The worst domain to buy right now:

tryspamcapital(.)info
tryspamgroup(.)info
tryspampartners(.)info
etc...

Sp-amh-aus and v-alidi-ty are doing everything they can to work with ESP's to nuke your outbound, be smarter.

I can confidently say unbranded domains perform just as well as branded, buy unbranded domains that don't have any signs of outbound in them.

[Termsheetinator @termsheetinator]

we're changing how we acquire domains. heres why:

- .info registrations fell 52%
- Spamhaus listings went UP 248%
- 131,578 .info domains listed

thats april–september 2026 vs the previous 6 months.

Spamhaus names cold email as the main driver for .info, followed by phishing + Chinese gambling. outbound itself is part of what they're identifying.

we're taking .info off our buying list. doesnt mean every .info gets hit. it means we're not comfortable adding

more exposure to that TLD given what the report shows.

same report puts these among the top trending terms in new domains:

- group = rank 5
- consult = rank 10
- capital = rank 12
- partner = rank 18

xyzgroup(.)com, xyzcapital(.)com etc.

we're done buying batches built around those words too. unbranded szn.

those rankings are registration trends, not a list of blocked words. we're changing our naming approach, not claiming a different name makes the sending safe.

and with third parties identifying “synthetic warming,” 2 weeks in an Instantly pool isnt the whole acquisition process.

we're separating domain age, mailbox warmup time + actual listing status. checking before buying, checking before deployment, tracking what happens after.

less confidence in a green warmup score. more attention to the domains we're putting into production.

[Termsheetinator @termsheetinator]

@imam_gaji Just .com and .co

You can get away with cheap TLD’s but they’re getting hit hard rn when they’re in tandem with finance keywords

replace it with a word they're less allergic to, like "records", "archives" or "logs"

DATA BROKER: MARKET & PIPELINE UPDATE

I’m personally taking 3-6 seller calls a day right now.

We’ve built a good pipeline, and those conversations are giving us a clear view of what’s moving, where opportunities are slowing down and how we need to operate.

1. SELLER PIPELINE

We’re at 88 members in the Data Broker Skool group, everyone is building relationships on both the seller and buyer side.

A handful of members have their own calendar links and are sending seller traffic directly to me.

We’ve spoken with some extremely motivated sellers.

The community is becoming a source of real opportunities we can work together.

2. BUYER RESPONSE TIMES

Even after meeting licensing houses face to face, signing agreements and learning which datasets they want, responses can still be slow.

One licensing house told us they’re flooded with opportunities because of there's a lot of people running ads for the offer and obviously outbound.

There are a lot of sellers being put in front of the same licensing houses and labs.

Getting an agreement signed doesn’t mean your opportunity immediately moves to the front of the queue.

3. EXCLUSIVITY & COMPETITION

A clear message from that conversation: exclusivity is king right now.

We’re hearing that some labs won’t even entertain a dataset if it’s already being shopped around. That makes how an opportunity is represented and introduced an important part of the process.

This is why we’re building direct relationships on BOTH sides. We want sellers bringing opportunities to us early and buyers responding to a relationship they already know.

That’s the advantage we’re working to build.
Referral links are our last resort right now. Our priority is direct conversations with sellers, licensing houses and buyers.

4. CURRENT OPPORTUNITY

One of our members introduced me to a CPA firm with data going back 27 years. I’ve now spoken with them.

It hasn’t closed. If it does, it could become an incredible case study for the program: a member originates the relationship, brings us into the conversation and we work the opportunity together.

5. COMMUNITY & PRICING

Data Broker is now a one-time payment of $98 so we can overdeliver on value.

The price increases to $120 one-time when we reach 100 members. We’re currently at 88.

We’ll keep adding go-to-market strategies, cold email plays and the useful market intelligence coming out of these conversations. The skills you build here can carry across other offers too.

The pipeline is growing, the sellers are motivated and the conversations are turning into introductions.

[Termsheetinator @termsheetinator]

@TrentKrupp Dm me

[Termsheetinator @termsheetinator]

Data licensing companies after you send them 14 seller briefs because they said “We move fast, send us everything you’ve got”

- Slow af
- Engineer brains, don't know how to sell
- Annoying to deal with, don't respond quick enough
- Overwhelmed with demand
- Big talk upfront, back pedals with high demand

Step your damn game up buyers:

I should just go raise 100M and take all your business.

@itzSaasified You just train it during a testing phase and it works perfectly from there.

[Termsheetinator @termsheetinator]

This is one of the simplest webhooks you can set up right now to keep track of all your booked meetings.

1. You mark a lead “Meeting Booked” in your cold email sequencer

2. A Cloudflare Worker receives the event

3. The person gets added to your master Google Sheet (Ideally your CRM, just create an API for your CRM and use that instead of the Sheet)

All of this you can set up with an agent

You don’t need to write the code yourself. You can literally tell it what you want built.

1. CREATE YOUR CLOUDFLARE ACCOUNT

A Worker is the small piece of code that receives the notification from your sequencer and sends the information to your Sheet. It runs on Cloudflare, so your laptop doesn’t need to stay open.

Create a Cloudflare API token with permission to deploy Workers.

Have your agent tell you the exact permissions it needs and walk you through creating it.

2. CONNECT YOUR SEQUENCER

Create an API key in your sending tool.

Tell your agent which status or custom label should trigger the webhook and which campaigns belong in the tracker.

For example: “Every time I label someone Meeting Booked, add them to my master tracker.” And then give your harness the link to the Sheet
Your agent can create a local .env for the credentials and keep it out of Git. When it deploys the Worker, runtime credentials go into Cloudflare’s encrypted secrets. The sequencer gets the Worker’s webhook URL.

You’ll also need to authorize Google Sheets access.

Have the agent guide you through that connection.

3. TELL YOUR AGENT WHAT TO BUILD

Copy this:

“Build a webhook from my email sequencer to a Cloudflare Worker that updates this Google Sheet: [SHEET LINK].

Trigger it when I apply [EXACT STATUS OR LABEL], for [CAMPAIGNS].

Use the tracker columns listed below. Match fields by header name. Populate the available contact details, set Pipeline Status to Booked and record the source campaign in Note.

Add new people to the next unused contact row. If the email already exists, update that person without overwriting our notes or manual tracking.

Repeated events must not create duplicate rows.

Leave unavailable information blank. Only fill Meeting

Date when the actual booking date is available.

Authenticate incoming events, queue writes and retry failures. Guide me through any account authorization, deploy the Worker and configure the webhook.”

4. TEST IT

Apply the label to one test contact and check the correct information lands in the Sheet. Test the same event twice and make sure you still have one row.

Once that works, you can also route a notification to a booked-meetings channel in Slack or save the record in Supabase. If you already use a CRM, I’d send it there first so your team can work the lead where they already work.

5. USE ONE MASTER TRACKER

For a basic Google Sheet, use these columns:

- First Name
- Last Name
- Company Name
- Email
- Pipeline Status
- Referral/Direct
- Note
- Sent To:
- Meeting Date
- Show / No Show
- Meeting Outcome
- Prospect True Interest

Now you can see who booked, who they were sent to, whether they showed up and what came out of the conversation across your campaigns.

If you want every positive reply tracked too, add an Interested trigger that creates or updates the same person’s row. Keep Interested and Booked as separate stages.

@deeponailabs Easy to iron those bugs out and get it to work properly during a testing phase.

How to lose with cold email, even when your infrastructure is good and deliverability isn't the problem:

- You don't max out your planned daily send.

-You pay for mailboxes, then leave them idle for days/weeks.

- You can't tolerate 20 minutes of boring work without looking for something else to do.

- You spend more time obsessing over the infrastructure you're paying a provider to manage than getting campaigns up.

- You finish a campaign and carry none of its data or feedback into the next one. Every launch starts from zero.

- You turn on open and click tracking.

- You don't use plain-text on the initial message.

- You write offers that explain what you do without giving the buyer an outcome they actually want.

- You make the CTA hard to say yes to. Getting value from you comes with homework, friction and effort.

- You don't spend time in your AI harness learning how to use agents and APIs to build better lists.

- You're not curious about how to score your lead list so the best-fit prospects get prioritized.

- You're not curious enough to figure out how to build a Python scraper for a niche directory.

- You have no interest in creating custom variables that make the email relevant to the person receiving it.

- You don't care who's in the CSV, what they do or what they need. You just want to make money.

- You pull from Apollo and never look for another database, directory or creative way to find the right people.

- You'd rather watch three hours of YouTube on building a lead list than spend those 30 minutes building one.

- You're scared to spend $4 on the OpenAI API to enrich a list, but have no problem wasting another afternoon doing nothing with it.

- You find every excuse to work on your deck, website or branding instead of writing copy, building lists and launching campaigns.

- You don't prepare templates for positive replies, so every interested prospect becomes another thing to figure out from scratch.

- You don't put effort into powerful and aggressive follow-up subsequences for people who've already shown interest.

- You don't connect with your positive replies on LinkedIn. You don't like their content, send InMails or DM's.

- You don't call your positive replies 2x in a row, at least 3x a week.

- You don't text your positive replies, especially after calling them and they don't pick up, because you don't call them in the first place.

- You don't leverage the warm context of having called them and texted them in your next wave of email follow ups.

- You have no interest in making the copy 1% better with each campaign.

Most are simply not using their planned daily sending capacity. Are the mailboxes you've allocated to campaigns actually sending every day?

Mailbox note:

We recommend buying 25% more mailboxes than you plan to use at once, keeping the reserve warm and rotating weekly or every two weeks to support inboxing and the long-term health of your mailboxes and domains.

Use your planned campaign allocation within sensible per-mailbox limits, and keep that reserve available for rotation.
