Silvia's (@slv_caballero) beautiful paper is out now! Check out her thread for the highlights and gorgeous movies. I really enjoyed watching this take shape. Congrats Silvia!!
My PhD work is finally out @NaturePhysics!! We looked at the interplay between the cortex and cytoplasmic components to explore the role of friction forces in cellular morphogenesis.
Many thanks to @HeisenbergCPLab, Raphaël Voituriez and Andrew Callan-Jones

🙌What a start into the new year!
Latest work by former PhD student @slv_caballero, showing how frictional forces mediated by cortical flows help shape the ascidian oocyte, is out in @NaturePhysics🎉 https://t.co/jRX6mCuioR

Now recruiting: enthusiastic postdocs to use advanced imaging methods to dissect biological processes. My group at Harvard has 2 Wellcome-funded positions examining the underlying mechanisms and resultant forces driving bacterial growth, division, and antimicrobial resistance.
📣Please RT. We have a postdoc position @IGCiencia @CCR_lab to work together with the amazing labs of @ManuelTHERY@GaiaPigino@Lblanchoin on the homeostasis of complex cytoskeletal structures. Want to know more? DM/email me. Also, I am @ASCBiology meeting, happy to meet!
One month left to apply to this 4-year fully funded postdoc position in my group. We want to open a new research direction where we can predict drastic changes in tissue structure using machine learning!
