@ajc I looked outside around 11:45 p.m. on 2/25 and was surprised to see so many bright stars out in Lawrenceville tonight. But then I looked closer, and I think they are drones! This is what I captured by putting my phone camera up to binoculars. Any idea what is going on here?
(1:01pm) APD working shooting incident inside 1110 West Peachtree office building, between 12th + 13th St. APD reporting multiple injuries. Suspect not in custody at this time. Anyone in vicinity is asked to secure building, shelter in place. Those not in area asked to stay away.
@JenniferMRomig@JessicaJWood2 Did your old boss represent Lucy or Zehmer? 🤣 (I only remember that case from law school because Lexis used to have napkins with that case name on them at events. I also have a reusable white coffee mug that has “Liebeck v. McDonald’s” on it. Also from Lexis.)
Raise your hand if your paper ballot jammed the voting machine during the Georgia primary today and you’re not sure if your vote was actually counted. 🙋🏼♀️ #gapol#vote#elections#ElectionDay (More details in the attached photo.)
(And there was a pile of red zip ties at the bottom of the machine, at least some of which appeared to be cut, so I don’t know what that’s about either.) For a state that is so worried about “securing the vote,” it has a funny way of doing it.
When the second poll worker opened up the machine, there was just a red zip tie (or it looked like a zip tie) that he cut to open the door to get to the ballots, which I could see stacked right in front of me.
I'm helping the Georgia Appellate Courts team raise money for the 11th Annual Legal Food Frenzy. Please help us reach our goal! (Donations to individual pages count toward the group goal and will go to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.) #appellatetwitter https://t.co/K5hEajavnm
@XplodingUnicorn Are these civilian guinea pigs? If so, you’ll need a search warrant. And as a lawyer, I think I should also advise you that “looking guilty” is not probable cause to search.
