@leo60228 honestly this is one of the reasons i went off kotlin a bit (other reason being it feels too 'magic') - without semicolons every statement feels... incomplete? 'hanging off'?
on the rare occasion i write js i always semicolon it
people clown on java for how it used to be, the verbose noun-oriented EnterpriseStrategyBean stuff. but we're not like that now. we're modern. we have the 'yield' keyword
apps just holding state forever even after computer restarts removes one of the major incentives for me to actually save things...
i have like five 'Untitled 5.pages' "files" that only exist in forever-open windows in the background
