The difference between Lagos and Ibadan boat ride 😂
In Lagos, you order a boat ride and they basically ask:
“Where are you going?”
“Where are you?”
That’s it. 🚤
But in Ibadan, it’s a whole interview. 😂
“Where are you going?”
“How much did they tell you?”
“Are you ready
to add money?”
“How many of you are going?”
Then the driver gets to your location, sees 3 of you and goes:
“Ah! You didn’t tell me you people are three o!” 😂😂
Bro, what exactly did I book — a boat ride or a negotiation? 😭
If you’ve had a similar experience with boat rides
It’s crazy how you see a POS vendor next to a bank ATM machine and to your greatest surprise the ATMs will have no cash but the POS wil have more than enough. The system is rigged.

Where do these spoons go? 😭
Most salespeople don’t lose customers because of price.

A customer can reject a ₦5,000 product and happily buy a ₦20,000 alternative.
Why?
Because price is only expensive when the value isn’t clear.
You should know one thing as a salesperson. People buy with emotions not logic. We all lie we know what we are doing when we wanna buy stuffs, but the moment we are cool with the quality of the thing we wanna buy, nothing else matters. Argue with your brain
When you hear the word “brand,” what comes to your mind?
Maybe Tesla. Coca-Cola. CWAY. Nike. Adidas.
Notice something? You didn’t think about their products first—you thought about the feeling, the reputation, the quality, and the experience they represent.
That’s what a brand
Customer retention doesn’t happen by chance—it happens through consistent, exceptional service.
A customer may forget what you sold, but they will always remember how you made them feel. Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust, loyalty, and long-term relationships.
