From September 4 to 30, 2026, there will be a Yokai exhibition at KL Tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!
I’ll be exhibiting all 47 of my Yokai creations representing each of Japan’s 47 prefectures — a project that took me four years to complete.
There will also be signing sessions and live clay-making events, so please check Instagram

for more information!
My Yokai are harmless, friendly spirits that bring good fortune, inspired by traditional folktales and legends passed down through generations in different regions of Japan.
I’ll be exhibiting alongside the wonderful artists Kagemaru Himeno and Kouki Saito. Each of us has our own unique interpretation of Japanese Yokai, so please come and meet three very different worlds of Japanese Yokai! 😊
