WAAW 2024 DAY 2

The day 2 of WAAW 2024 was marked with data gathering across all 4 spoke facilities in the Volta Region, Ghana. We undertook Point Prevalence Surveys to assess the the impact of AMS interventions we implemented from the baseline PPS earlier in the year.

The 3rd day was marked across our sites with various activities! Awareness creation campaigns were undertaken at clinical meetings, OPDs, unit-to-unit basis, and on radio stations across the region.

Educational materials such as stickers, flyers, posters etc. of were distributed to the participants.

Today, our awareness creation on #AMR continued across the Volta Region of Ghana.

Whereas some facilities engaged in ward-to-ward and general OPD education, others went to tertiary and secondary schools to deliver talks on antimicrobial agents resistance!
