With all the talk of mergers and with every other movie being a reboot, sequel, or superhero movie, it feels like the right time to announce I'm producing a new movie. It's a throwback to the kind of comedies I grew up with and miss. An indie the vein of This is Spinal Tap and Monty Python. It's called ROGER WODEHOUSE'S ANDROGYMNASIUM. It's also co-written by and starring my genius brother in law.
It's about a glam rocker in the 1970's who gets asked to host a BBC children's show, only to have it cancelled after the first three episodes.
We're raising our tiny budget on WeFunder, which means YOU can invest. This isn't a Kickstarter, we aren't asking for money in exchange for a t-shirt or credit, you can own part of the film for as low as $100 (but we'd LOVE for you to give much, much more). And we've already raised over $100K.
Will it make money? Movies are hard but I will say we already have a stacked cast (stars of What We Do in the Shadows and Seinfeld, to name a few), a full soundtrack (another revenue stream!), and an incredibly talented team (director who has done shows on FX, crazy talented writers, etc). In fact, we released a music video today to go with it.
It's also going to shoot in LA. Which feels important.
Lastly, it's 2026. If you can't invest in a weird comedy right now, I get it. You know what's free? Supporting original art with a share. Consider RT/QT'ing this or sending it directly to someone you think may be into it.

Destroying the @InternetArchive's @WayBackMachine would be the equivalent of the burning of the Library of Alexandria - one of the worst losses of knowledge in history.
Media giants are now threatening to do this.
We can't let this happen.
Pass it on.
Okay, he has a point: the thumb is on the scale, not in the Democrats' favor. How much money and time would it take Becerra to reach a competitive level with the scale against him? Democrats have work to do.
